Your files

Your files are never uploaded, transmitted, stored, or seen by us. This isn't a retention policy — it's a consequence of how the site is built. Every tool runs inside your browser, and the site has no server capable of receiving a file. Here's how to verify that yourself.

Accounts

The free tools and direct spreadsheet downloads require no account or email address.

Cookies

The site sets no cookies and uses no local storage for tracking. You won't see a cookie banner here because there is nothing to consent to.

Analytics

There is no analytics script on this site. Nothing is added to the page, no cookies are set, and nothing follows you between sites.

What we do look at is the aggregate request data our host already collects in order to serve the page — roughly how many requests each page received and which country they came from. That is the same connection information described under Hosting below, read in summary. It is never linked to a person, and it never touches a file you opened in a tool, because those files never leave your browser to begin with.

The Content-Security-Policy includes connect-src 'none', which blocks connections such as fetch, XHR, WebSockets and tracking beacons. Other directives separately control scripts, images and fonts. The policy does not prevent you from following a normal link to another website.

Hosting

The site is served as static files by a CDN. Like any web host, that provider processes the connection needed to deliver the page, which involves your IP address and browser user agent. That's ordinary web-server behaviour and applies to every site you visit; it involves the page you requested, never a file you opened in a tool.

Third parties

No advertising networks, no trackers, no embedded third-party scripts, and no fonts loaded from someone else's domain. Everything the page needs comes from this site.

A product checkout link, when available, takes you to Gumroad. That separate service processes purchase details under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not send it files you use in Cleanroom's tools. No checkout or email collection is embedded here.

Downloaded workbooks

The finance workbooks contain no macros or external data connections. Cleanroom does not receive the records you enter. If you save a workbook in OneDrive, Google Drive or another cloud service, that provider processes the file under its own terms.
