Runs in your browserFilter rows in a CSV
Pull out just the active customers, drop the test records, or take everything above a threshold. Name a column, pick a condition, and choose whether matching rows are the ones you keep or the ones you lose.
Your file stays on this computer. There’s no upload button here, because there’s nowhere to send it. This tool runs inside the page you opened — like a calculator on a web page, it keeps working once it has loaded. How this works, and how to check it →
How to use it
- Choose your CSV file.
- Name the column and pick a condition — contains, is exactly, starts with, is empty, greater than, and so on.
- Choose whether matching rows are kept or removed, then click Filter.
Questions
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. The whole tool is inside this page, so the work happens on your computer. There is no server to send it to. If you'd rather check than take our word for it: use the tool once, on a sample file, with the settings you want. Then turn off your wi-fi and do exactly the same thing again in that tab, without reloading. It still works, because everything it needs is already here.
Nothing matched — what went wrong?
Usually a stray space or a spelling difference. Matching ignores space at the start and end of a cell. It ignores capitals too, unless you turn on "Match capitals exactly". It won't correct a typo, so check the exact spelling of the value you're matching against.
Can I filter on more than one condition?
Not in one pass, but you can chain them. Filter on the first condition and download the result, then put that file through again with the second. Rows that survive both passes are the ones matching both.
How do greater than and less than treat text?
They read both sides as numbers. A cell that isn't a number never matches, so a stray label in a numeric column is excluded rather than compared alphabetically.
